Main goal of developed solution is to provide real-time detection, tracking and monitoring of sea traffic and vessels’ information to produce situational awareness. The system is currently in operation on several hundreds of small, medium scale and large VTMS (Vessel Traffic Management System) worldwide. The target is to bring the existing solution to a new level by optimization of existing as well as the development of new functionalities.
Responsibilities:
Setup and maintenance of complex build/deployment/testing pipelines
Automation of resources/environments provision
Setup and maintenance of monitoring/alerts systems
Assistance with solution design tasks related to redundancy, availability, security and other system concerns
Requirements:
Solid experience with at least one CI/CD tool
Experience with Azure DevOps Server (on-premises version of Azure DevOps Services) is a strong plus Experience with Source Control Management Systems
Good understanding and experience with Hypervisors
Experience with setup, maintenance and integration of monitoring solutions
Experience with setup, maintenance and integration of Log Aggregation solutions
Knowledge of at least one scripting language
Desire to learn new tools, technologies, approaches etc.
Good organization skills to define priorities, perform root cause analysis, define and follow implementation/improvements roadmaps
Good communication skills to coordinate tasks/activities with development, support and release management teams
Good presentation skills to visualize and communicate proposed and “as built” solutions
Desired skills
Knowledge/Experience with IT Automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
Knowledge/Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Redundancy and Availability implementation options
