Middle PHP Developer


Our customer is located in Finland. It is a global supplier of information systems to the travel and transport industry and is totally focused on the travel and passenger shipping industry providing advanced Information Technology solutions focusing on the end consumer. The solutions are constantly evolving to meet the ever-changing operational demands of its clients. For over a decade it has been serving a growing client base of ferry operators which includes operators throughout the Baltic’s, mainland Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, Africa and Australia.


  • Development of applications 
  • Write new program code; maintain existing code using prescribed specifications 
  • Participation in the preparation of technical specifications and functional descriptions 
  • Work with a team in Agile environment 


  • 3+ years’ experience in development
  • Strong knowledge/work experience with PHP (WordPress), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap, MySQL,
  • Experience with control version tools like GIT or SVN
  • Understanding software product life-cycle, software architecture and design
  • Intermediate spoken and written English level

Desired skills

  • Work experience with Angular 4+, .NET
  • Work experience with JIRA 
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in the field of Computer Science or a closely related field
